Future Views SeaStar Corporation has developed the devices closely connected with the life of the handicapped people, which devices being, for example, those for the visually-handicapped people and such as the communication device for the patient suffering from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Although my history with the development of welfare devices is not long, the user's inconvenience seems very real to me, that is, I have the feeling at least that the safety standards of welfare devices are not established yet, and that, of all things, those devices are very expensive as compared with the other general products. SeaStar Corporation will continue to develop the devices we had up to the present, with the intention to realize the higher performance and the lower price, and with the consideration of the aging society in progress. Additionally, we have a policy to make a proposal of an In-home Health Care System, which could prevent that the handicapped or the sick from further increase. We will develop this system by combining the network technology of the Information System Division and the sensor technology of the Control System Division.
